We are a family owned and operated Dojo located in Auburn, California. We teach a traditional Okinawan-style of karate called Isshin-ryū, a fusion of Shorin-ryū karate, Gojū-ryū karate, and kobudō (traditional weapons such as bo, sai, and tonfa). Our training incorporates a balanced mix of hands and feet techniques, emphasizing practical street-oriented strikes, blocks, and joint manipulations. Our Dojo is registered with the Okinawa Isshinryu Karate Kobudo Association (OIKKA), which officially recognizes Bennati’s as an Isshin-ryū Dojo in both Japan and Okinawa.
