Welcome to Family Learning Lab
Family Learning Lab was created from a simple belief: learning is better… together.
We saw many families searching for something in between doing everything alone at home and handing education completely over to someone else. Parents wanted to stay involved, children wanted friendships and fun, and many families needed support, encouragement, and a place to belong.
And while we began with a heart for homeschool and alternative education families, over time we discovered something bigger: many families are looking for the same things.
Parents everywhere want more connection, less screen time, accessible creative experiences, and truly welcoming places where children can learn through doing.
So we built something different.
Family Learning Lab is a family-centered learning space where parents and children can explore, create, and grow side by side. We are not a traditional school, daycare, or drop-off program. We are a community built around parent-led learning, shared experiences, and making education feel possible again.
Why We Started
Many families choose homeschooling or alternative education because they want more time together, more flexibility, and a better fit for their children.
But the reality can be hard.
It can be difficult to provide friendships, group experiences, hands-on projects, science labs, art messes, motivation, structure, and community all on your own.
We understand that challenge.
Family Learning Lab was created to help families keep the freedom of home education while gaining the support and experiences that are hard to create alone.
