As a passionate science educator with over 15 years of experience, I’ve seen countless homeschool moms struggle with finding the right resources to teach science in a meaningful, engaging way. I wanted to create a solution that makes teaching science stress-free and fun—without requiring a science degree! That’s why I founded Lab Rat Academy, a place where your child can experience high-level science in an exciting, hands-on way. I believe every parent deserves the confidence to give their child the best education possible.
Lab Rat Academy provides engaging, hands-on science labs designed to inspire homeschool students and ignite their curiosity in science and medicine. We offer high-level labs tailored to meet the educational needs of students from 1st through 12th grade. Our labs alleviate the overwhelm of teaching science at home by delivering expert-led experiences that build confidence and deepen understanding. From anatomy dissection to chemistry experiments to physics activities, we make science accessible, stress-free, and fun for students and parents alike. Wings Tutorial Services
Wings Tutorial Services provides personalized tutoring in various subjects, including ASL (American Sign Language), language arts, math, study skills, and test preparation. They also offer small group workshops to support learning in a collaborative environment. Sessions are held in Fair Oaks, California, and focus on helping students succeed academically with tailored strategies and tools.
Technique Gymnastics / Technique Kids Activity Center
Founded in 1992, Technique is proud to be Sacramento’s premier children’s activity center, offering gymnastics classes for children from 6 months through 18 years, as well as competitive gymnastics teams, amazing parties for any occasion, camps, and more. We’re dedicated to helping your child reach their gymnastics goals. Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned athlete, we’ve got classes and programs for everyone. Our 38,000 state-of-the-art facility offers a variety of gymnastics programs for all ages and skill levels. From recreational classes to competitive teams, we’re committed to providing a safe, supportive, and fun learning environment.
We offer Home School PE classes (which exceed CA PE requirements), in addition to Gymnastics, Ninja, Trampoline, Tumbling, Acro, Kinder and competitive programs. We also have a dedicated Teen Tumbling class.
Tennis With Cole
Coach Cole has been playing and coaching tennis since 1998. He started off as a successful high school player in Oregon and then was given the opportunity to play college tennis for Portland State University and Linfield College. After receiving his undergraduate degree in Physical Education in 2007, he became a certified USPTA tennis teaching professional and was able to teach at tennis clubs in Oregon and California. In 2014 he received his Master’s degree in Teaching and also became a certified PTR tennis teaching professional. Coach Cole enjoys teaching group and private lessons for all skill levels and ages.

Soil Born Farms
Roots & Wings, our youth education program, takes students on a journey through the seasons with a series of farm- and nature-based classes. Students ages 7 to 12 (grades 2 through 7) engage in experiences at the farm and along the American River Parkway where they learn valuable life skills that encourage healthy living and stewardship of the land.
Class and Program Design: Classes at the American River Ranch lead youth towards connecting with food, health, and the environment by learning about soil fertility and production, planting and tending native and food bearing plants, irrigation, garden design, seasonality, fresh snacks from the farm, and hands-on tasks in the Youth Garden. Participants explore all aspects of the American River Ranch from the field, and into the forest and American River Parkway.
Field experiences in the American River Parkway produce hands-on tasks and studies along Cordova Creek, including water quality and conservation, native plants and soils, local wildlife, and stewardship projects. These activities are designed to address Next Generation Science Standards. Participants will walk away with a deep understanding and appreciation of sustainable agriculture, seasonal foods, native plant restoration, creek and river ecosystems, and they become life-long stewards of the American River Ranch and Parkway.

We provide music lessons for all ages and specialize with beginners. We believe that music is one of the greatest things on earth and want to share it with everyone. Whether you are learning guitar, ukulele, drum, voice, keyboard, piano, violin, cello, saxophone, recording or any other offering, we keep things educational yet fun! We believe that learning an instrument should be exciting and if taught the wrong way, can leave a bad experience with someone and cause them to stray away from learning. Each of our instructors share this vision and strive to blend top notch music education with fun and excitement. Our unique blend of teaching and fun places us at the best spot to learn music in the Roseville, Rocklin, and Granite Bay area. We are proud to offer lessons in Guitar, Bass, Ukulele, Drum, Singing, Violin, Cello, Saxophone, Recording, and Piano, Keyboard. Spotlight Music Lessons is also equipped to offer recording services such as song demos, voice overs, music editing and more! In addition to our award winning music lessons, Spotlight offers academic tutoring from a credentialed teacher including Math and Reading.
