ver the past 7 years Anna has developed a unique method to introduce students to a variety of techniques and materials such as acrylic, watercolor, oil pastel, pencils, ink, charcoal, collage. In our classes students get introduced to art foundations such as composition, colors, proportions, and perspective while they learn how to freely express themselves. Each kid creates a complete art work every session unique to their skills and creativity. Personal attention is given to every student in group classes and students master technique at their own pace. Individual lessons are customized to focus on particular skills or explore students' specific interests. Art supplies are provided in our classes (unless otherwise stated). In most classes we offer a free trial session and a free class for referring a new client.
Ba-Lates is a fusion of Ballet and Pilates. The mat exercises of Pilates strengthen your core and increases flexibility which enhances better control, stability, and flexibility as you dance. Both techniques compliment each other and provide a great way to condition your body. This fusion not only is a great mix up to your weekly workout routine, it improves posture, coordination and rekindles the love for dance.
We are a family owned and operated Dojo located in Auburn, California. We teach a traditional Okinawan-style of karate called Isshin-ryū, a fusion of Shorin-ryū karate, Gojū-ryū karate, and kobudō (traditional weapons such as bo, sai, and tonfa). Our training incorporates a balanced mix of hands and feet techniques, emphasizing practical street-oriented strikes, blocks, and joint manipulations. Our Dojo is registered with the Okinawa Isshinryu Karate Kobudo Association (OIKKA), which officially recognizes Bennati's as an Isshin-ryū Dojo in both Japan and Okinawa.
Camino Classical Ballet was founded by former professional ballet dancer Gina Domenichelli-Illingworth. Our mission is to provide professional classical ballet instruction to children 4yrs and up in El Dorado County.

For over 18 years, Hands in Motion has been dedicated to serving the homeschool community. Our experienced teachers use hands-on learning experiences to educate students across a range of subjects, including sports, creative arts, writing, science, language, trades, history and hands-on building projects. Let's get these kids off screens and outside! Not only are our classes fun and convenient for the whole family, but we keep the class sizes small to make sure students get the education they deserve. We strive to develop an appreciation for agriculture, nature, and the outdoors in every child that attends class. You won't find the same hands-on farm experience at any other location! We recommend the majority of our classes for ages 5 and up and have several classes just for teens as well as monthly preschool story times. Our classes are outdoors (weather permitting, we also have an indoor classroom) and involve a variety of farm-related topics.
Our mission is to provide homeschooling families a central location where they can engage in classical education classes while alleviating the stress of driving all over town for these enriching experiences. Our goal is to help each student realize their genius, promote a passion for learning, and develop new skills. Our devoted teachers have discovered their own love of learning and use their expertise to inspire these characteristics in the children they teach and nurture. Love of Learning classes support and enrich what is taught at home. We encourage communication and collaboration with our families and teachers. We will not teach to state or federal tests, but we will do what homeschooling families have always doneā€”give children a true education and a deep love of learning!
