How is West Point different?
We always invest in excellence: Well-paid professional instructors. Continual staff training. Well-equipped, well-maintained modern cars. Knowledgeable office staff who don’t need “management approval” to help you. Just good old-fashioned service.
We always give you maximum value. We’ll never have the lowest prices, but one lesson with us can be as effective as several lessons elsewhere.
We always respect the family as part of the training team. We welcome family participation (ride-alongs) and we will keep you well-informed.
We always stand behind a fair refund policy.
We will NOT “just drive around”. That’s called practice, not training. Results-oriented training is worth paying for. Practice is not. We’re professionals who are paid to make a difference. We’re very good at converting nervous drivers to safe, confident drivers.
We will NOT have other students in the car, ever. This is called “piggybacking” and you may have been told it’s “industry standard practice”. Driving schools who do this save labor costs. But with West Point, a 2-hour lesson takes 2 hours of your time — Not 2 hours plus the time it takes another student to drive you home.
We will NOT cut lessons short, take breaks, or run errands during lessons. You’ll get every bit of the time you pay for.
We will NOT rush you to take your lessons. Your enrollment is good for 2 full years — Twice as long as a permit is valid.
Technique Gymnastics / Technique Kids Activity Center
Founded in 1992, Technique is proud to be Sacramento’s premier children’s activity center, offering gymnastics classes for children from 6 months through 18 years, as well as competitive gymnastics teams, amazing parties for any occasion, camps, and more. We’re dedicated to helping your child reach their gymnastics goals. Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned athlete, we’ve got classes and programs for everyone. Our 38,000 state-of-the-art facility offers a variety of gymnastics programs for all ages and skill levels. From recreational classes to competitive teams, we’re committed to providing a safe, supportive, and fun learning environment.
We offer Home School PE classes (which exceed CA PE requirements), in addition to Gymnastics, Ninja, Trampoline, Tumbling, Acro, Kinder and competitive programs. We also have a dedicated Teen Tumbling class.
The Swimstitute
Behind the Swimstitute’s theories and philosophies on coaching and swimming is over 70 years of combined experience in the sport.
With extensive backgrounds that include significant time spent at different levels of swimming, and seeing it from different points of view: swimming (high school, college, and USS), parenting (summer league, USS), and coaching (summer league, high school, USS), in conjunction with constant learning that includes consulting with other coaches, attending seminars, lots of reading and studying, as well as continuing to work in the water ourselves; the Swimstitute offers unparalleled swimming instruction.
From getting you and your babies comfortable and having fun in the water together in our parent/tot class, to breaking down your stroke piece by piece with our underwater video, we will make you better. From the adult who is terrified of the water, to the competitor who appears to have it all, but needs to drop .05 to qualify, we will make you better. And from the lap swimmer who wants to be more efficient and stop fighting the water, to the seasoned triathlete who is looking for the same, we will make you better.
