Discovery Science Labs

Our Discovery Science Labs program features high-interest, hands-on experiments designed to capture curiosity and build real scientific thinking. Each session introduces a core concept through an engaging demonstration or setup, then gives students the opportunity to explore, test, and discover through guided experimentation. We rotate through a wide variety of topics—chemistry, engineering, physics, earth science, life science, and more—so students experience a broad sampler of science experiments.

Team-Based Discovery

Students work together in pairs or small groups to complete challenges, run tests, compare results, and refine their ideas. Collaboration and communication are central to the process: kids share materials, divide tasks, troubleshoot problems, and support one another’s observations. This team approach reinforces problem-solving skills and builds confidence while making each lab more engaging and fun.

High-Interest Experiments

We select visually compelling, high-energy experiments that spark excitement and curiosity. Each lab is designed to be memorable, meaningful, and developmentally appropriate. We blend exploration with clear learning goals, giving students both the “wow” factor and a solid understanding of the underlying science.

Discovery Science Labs emphasize experimentation over worksheets—students mix, build, test, observe, measure, and redesign. This approach helps them develop critical thinking, scientific vocabulary, and real-world inquiry skills in a supportive, interactive environment.
