That’s why our programs are thoughtfully designed to support parent-led learning by offering enrichment experiences and academic resources that make it easier for families to meet state standards. From collaborative group activities to quiet, focused workspaces, we provide a variety of learning environments that align with California educational goals while allowing the flexibility homeschoolers value. Whether families are looking to reinforce core subjects, explore the arts, or build social-emotional skills, our offerings help fill in the gaps and bring learning to life.​

Morning Meeting M–Th | 9:15 AM

Students begin their academic day with community-building, critical thinking, and goal setting. Morning trivia encourages recall and reasoning aligned with cognitive development goals. Students also identify personal learning goals, building executive functioning skills.

Power Hours M–Th | 9:30 AM – 11:30 AM

A dedicated quiet work time to complete core curriculum assignments in ELA, math, science, or history. This time supports academic focus, stamina, and independent work habits. Parents may also provide direct instruction. Ideal for fulfilling personalized learning plan (PLP) time or working toward mastery of grade-level content standards.

Kinder Hour T/Th | 10:30 AM – 11:15 AM

Designed for TK–1st grade students, this circle time includes greetings, songs, storytime, calendar routines, and weather observations. Activities support early literacy and numeracy, oral language development, social-emotional learning, and social studies standards.

Sensory Play & STEM Stations M–Th 11:30 AM – 3 PM | F 9 AM – 3 PM

Supports fine motor development, problem-solving, and hands-on STEM exploration. Rotating stations include loose parts play, building challenges, and thematic sensory exploration.

Math Mania M 11:30 AM – 12 PM

Students engage in fun, fast-paced games designed to build fluency in foundational math facts. Movement-based activities support kinesthetic learners and reduce performance anxiety.

Wacky Writers W 11:30 AM – 12 PM

A creative writing session designed to engage reluctant writers through humor and imaginative prompts. Activities support ELA standards in written expression, narrative structure, and conventions, while encouraging developing fluency and oral storytelling.

GeoQuest: USA F 11:30 AM – 12 PM

This interactive geography time reinforces U.S. states and capitals through map-based games, songs, and memory challenges.

Lunch & Learn / Social Lunch M–F | 12 PM

Students have the opportunity to attend informal lessons during lunch, such as virtual field trips, mini lessons by guest speakers, or student-led demos. This time supports real-world learning, speaking and listening standards, and interdisciplinary exploration. Fridays are reserved for unstructured social interaction, supporting social-emotional development.

Kids Book Club M | 1 PM

Encourages reading comprehension, literary analysis, and oral expression. Students may share book reports or summaries and discuss plot elements, characters, and theme. Supports ELA standards in reading literature and speaking/listening.

Classics Read-Aloud W | 12 PM

Students listen to a classic novel read aloud while following along or relaxing. Exposure to rich vocabulary, complex sentence structure, and literary themes supports listening comprehension and language development. Supports ELA reading and literature appreciation standards.

Open Art Lab M-F 9PM - 3PM

Our Open Art Lab provides a flexible, self-guided environment where students explore a variety of art materials and techniques at their own pace - either completing the art project of the week or working on their own projects. This open-ended format supports creativity, fine motor development, and visual expression, while encouraging critical thinking and problem-solving. Supporting California Visual and Performing Arts Standards, the lab offers academic value across TK–8 and beyond. Students may integrate art with other subjects or work on personal projects in a calm, focused setting.

Art Extended T/W 1-3PM

Students engage in directed art projects using various media and techniques, supporting California Visual and Performing Arts Standards. Projects explore elements of art such as line, color, and texture, and include art appreciation and historical context where appropriate.

Gameschooling Th | 1 PM

Educational games build strategy, logic, math fluency, language development, and cooperative skills. Supports academic standards in multiple domains while promoting critical thinking and collaboration.

Open Mic F | 12:30 PM

A low-pressure opportunity to present written work, projects, poetry, or perform a talent. Builds confidence and supports ELA Speaking and Listening Standards across grade levels. Encourages self-expression and presentation skills.

MyClub M & F | 2 PM

Student-led interest-based clubs support leadership, collaboration, and planning. Kids apply to form a club, develop meeting plans, and lead peers in activities, promoting 21st-century skills and student agency. Ideal for project-based learning and fulfilling elective or enrichment goals.

Science Friday F | 9:30 - 11:30 AM

Science Friday offers a hands-on, enrichment-based science lab experience where students explore high-interest experiments across life, earth, and physical sciences. Our prepped-for-you science station includes engaging materials and coordinating lab sheets that guide students through the scientific method while reinforcing key concepts that support Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS).
