Join us for our exciting Kinder Hours Programming Tuesdays & Thursdays.
Always drop-in, no advanced booking required – however you’re welcome to purchase a ticket online.
A full hour of circle time fun followed by a craft, sensory play, and science lab – for kids ages 4–6!
Kinder Hours gives young learners a chance to learn, play, and make new friends in a relaxed group setting. During class, kids explore calendar, phonics, math, geography, stories, songs, and more through engaging, age-appropriate activities.
Parents stay on site nearby, so kids can build confidence and independence. Children are welcome to re-join their grown-up at any time when they need a little extra encouragement, then return to class when ready.
Kinder Hours is designed for children ages 4–6 who can participate in an active group setting for about 20 minutes at a time. Shy kids are absolutely welcome! If your child needs a break, they are free to come to you – together you can explore the Art Lab, play a game or relax in the Lo-Fi Lab, or enjoy another part of FamLab — then return to class whenever they feel ready.
After circle time, kids are invited to the tables for a guided craft. Hop in and help your little one, or give them a chance to experience a little independence. Our crafts match our weekly theme and give kids a chance to explore a wide variety of materials.
Kids then get time to play in our sensory play area and lego wall while we reset our table for a theme supporting hands on science lab or activity.
Our program is often called the best kept secret in Citrus Heights, but you’re warmly invited to come experience the learning fun anytime!
