Plan Your Visit

We hope that when you visit us here at Family Learning Lab, you’ll feel welcome, seen, and supported!

Here’s some important information to help you plan your first visit to “The Lab!”

• Anchor Programs: Our Kinder Hour & MESSA Lab classes are our anchor programs. If you’re looking for group learning experiences for your kids where they can make friends, socialize, and practice group learning skills, we recommend trying out a Kinder Hour or MESSA Lab. Kinder Hour classes are designed for ages 4 to 6. MESSA Lab classes are for grades 1-2 and 3-5. 
• Open Explorations Stations & Areas: Throughout the Lab, we have learning stations everywhere. Included in any day pass or paid class is complementary access to our 10 foot sensory play table, 10 foot lego building wall, STEM table, stocked art lab, Science & Art Exploration Stations, and family schooling tables. We have free coffee for grownups, and free wi-fi and printing. We also have a variety of snacks and drinks for sale, as well as art blanks to paint and sometimes slime kits to purchase as well. We have a game-schooling library, free curriculum swap shelf, and small student entrepreneur shop. Lockers and cubbies are available for use, and families are welcome to store lunches in the art lab refrigerator.
• Where To Park: We decided to move our front entrance to what feels like the back of the building – because there’s plenty of parking on that side and less traffic. When you first visit us, take a moment to drive around the building until you see our door labeled ENTRANCE (follow the arrows painted on the windows.) We are the only business with a front door on this side, so feel free to park anywhere that’s comfortable for you (except the one marked reserved space for our pizza place next door.)
• Sign your waiver ahead of time: We require waivers for all families entering the building. Sign yours before you come for a super fast check in. Pro tip: try to use the same email address each time you make an online purchase so your tickets are easy to find. familylearninglab.org/waiver

• Still Unsure What FamLab is? Come by for a free tour! We totally get feeling unsure about a place and wanting to really understand it before buying tickets. Come by any week day between 10am and 4pm for a free tour!
