Description
This online trimester class introduces students to the various aspects of planning healthy meals, shopping for ingredients, kitchen safety, and cooking.
Kids will have access to specific recipes they can try. They can also look for their own recipes and collect their favorites in a recipe book. Students will identify food groups and use online tools to determine the nutritional facts for a recipe they try or create.
This is a paced and moderated class and feedback is given by the teacher. Upon enrollment students will receive access to lessons via Google Classroom.
