Description

Can you grow plants without dirt? This is the big question we’ll address in this hands-on workshop that introduces the science behind hydroponics.

Students will challenge their own understanding of plant needs and learn how plants can grow in water. They will learn a variety of hydroponic methods and their best applications.  Every student will make a Kratky method hydroponic planter that they will bring home.

Students will also bring home a handwritten science related work sample.
