FAQ

Not yet. We are currently in Phase 2 of our 3 Phase Pathway to Open, which means we’re holding events in community spaces to connect with families. Our earliest possible open date for our physical center will be September of 2025.

Yes! We are currently a vendor with South Sutter and Cottonwood so you can use charter vouchers to pay for workshops. We are committed to working with all types of homeschoolers and will be working to become a vendor with every charter that will have us. Some charters now require their families to request the businesses that become vendors, so make sure to reach out if you don’t see Family Learning Lab on your vendors list.

All our events are currently NOT drop off events – we require you to supervise your children at all times. We are working towards providing options for our workshops – we will communicate with workshop participants directly regarding the supervision requirements.

No, and a little bit yes. We exist to make less work for homeschool families, not more. This means our volunteers provide everything we can so you can show up to our events and experience them with your kids. We ask for donations to support our community events. There will be an admission price and paid passes for using our center once we’re open. While we’re technically not a co-op, co-ops are more than welcome to attend our events!

Family Learning Lab Co-School is not a religiously affiliated non-profit. We operate faith-neutral and politically-neutral events and activities. As an example, this means you won’t see an FLL sponsored Bible study, nor a pride week. There are so many wonderful things to teach our children, we’re here to help out with the bulk of it that’s not religious or politically controversial. We do, however, have strong values of kindness and support and aim to make all people feel welcome and meet as many needs of our homeschool community as possible.
