Students in our Social Studies Grade 5 Discovery Lab will explore CA state grade level standards through the use of our QDPI Eclectic Learning Model. Together we’ll journey to Discover the answers to our leading Question, then Practice the information we learned and finally work on a project to Inform others to demonstrate mastery. This study group style class emphasizes the use of materials to match kids’ learning styles and is intended to supplement your Learning Team’s education plan. Students should be able to sit at a desk for at least 10 minutes at a time, respectfully follow instructions and requests from the teacher, and allow all students the chance to participate equally. Students may join the class at any point, however we recommend consistent attendance for maximum learning support.
