MESSA Lab (Math • English • Social Studies • Science • Art)
MESSA Lab is our homeroom-style class designed to give elementary students a consistent place to build friendships, collaborate, and grow throughout the year. This class blends core academic skill-building with community, creativity, and hands-on learning in a way that supports both kids and parent educators.
Each session includes a mix of engaging activities such as math games (Math Mania), fun and confidence-building writing prompts (Wacky Writers), and light geography exploration. Students will also have regular opportunities to work together, follow instructions from another adult, and build teamwork skills in a supportive environment.
MESSA Lab is intentionally designed to complement the rest of the Family Learning Lab experience. After class, students can continue their learning through our Science and Art Exploration Stations—allowing them to touch on all core subjects in a single visit: Math, English, Social Studies, Science, and Art.

For the remainder of this school year, MESSA Labs will combine grades 1 thru 5 with alternating focuses on math fluency and creative and nonfiction writing.
MESSA Lab is where community and learning come together—giving kids a place to belong while supporting families in their homeschool journey.
