Math Mania: Multiplication Lab is a high-energy, game-based class designed to help students master multiplication facts through movement, music, competition, and play.
Each class follows a fun and predictable routine that builds fluency step-by-step. Students begin by learning the featured multiplication table for the day, completing their chart, and practicing skip counting using songs, clapping, marching, and partner passing activities. These multi-sensory warm-ups help students lock in number patterns before moving into speed and recall work.
Students then practice “Math Trios” to strengthen fact families and number relationships, followed by short written practice to reinforce what they’ve learned. The majority of class time is spent playing fast-paced multiplication games, timed skip-count races, and silent speed drills that turn repetition into exciting challenges. Students earn points and reward coins for participation, effort, and successful recitations, creating motivation while keeping the environment positive and supportive.
This class is ideal for students who need to build multiplication fluency, confidence, and automatic recall in a fun, low-pressure way. Through games, movement, and friendly competition, students develop strong number sense while discovering that practicing math can actually be something they look forward to.
