Join us for our first Fun Friday Play Date of the year!
This is a FREE event. We welcome a $2 donation if you’re able to contribute towards supplies, but not mandatory. 🙂 Click here to send a donation.
Kids will have fun playing in moon sand, dyed pasta, and nature themed items at our large sensory play table. Kids who prefer their own space are welcome to scoop up some of the fun into an individual tray to take to their own table.
Kids are invited to gather around as Ms. Christy reads The Nature Journal: A Backyard Adventure.
We will be tying together pre-punched watercolor paper with twine and creating a unique cover. Kids may make leaf prints with stamp pads and dot markers. They can also try making flower prints with hammers (with a supervising guardian!) Find unique items to draw, paint, or tape and start your nature journal for the year.
**IMPORTANT NOTE** Sensory play includes a variety of ingredients and materials that may present choking hazards for small children and simply won’t taste good. Please be mindful of any allergies your children may have. A supervising adult must be present with their children during sensory play. You will need to sign a waiver when you arrive. Ingredients used in this month’s sensory play include: flour, corn oil, cocoa powder, non-toxic washable liquid watercolor, pasta, non-toxic acrylic paint, sanitizer, rocks, silk flowers.
