Join us for our February Fun Friday! It’s all about the cookies!
**DATE AND LOCATION CHANGE!**
No soggy cookies here, we’re changing our Fun Friday to the 14th at the Sylvan Oaks Library Community Room! (We may add some extra Valentine’s Day fun!)
Because it’s at the library we’ll have to make a few changes. I’ll set up our playdough cookie factory AND craft at separate stations and kids can come in and do the activities as they like. We’ll pause briefly at 10:30 for our story, then finish up our play by 11am. Since the library doesn’t open until 10 I’ll need a little setup help. If anyone can get there around 9:45am and help please let me know

SENSORY PLAY – It’s the ULTIMATE play dough cookie factory! We’re bringing ALL the colors, rollers, sprinkles, trays, cookie cutters – all for max play dough cookie fun!
STORYTIME – Ms. Christy will be reading “Mmm, Cookies” – a funny book that (fair warning) may inspire your own kids’ cookie pranks at home.
ART PROJECT – Puffy paint cardboard cookies! Each kiddo will receive a paper tray with two cardboard circles, a jumbo popsicle stick, and a small lidded container of glue. We’ll come around and add shaving cream and kids will use their popsicle sticks to mix up their “frosting” and frost their cookies with it. We’ll have lots of fun toppings and decorations kids can then add to their cookies

**IMPORTANT NOTE** Sensory play includes a variety of ingredients and materials that may present choking hazards for small children, potential allergic reactions, and simply won’t taste good. Please be mindful of any allergies your children may have. A supervising adult must be present with their children during the entire event, and we ask that you supervise “mouthers” very closely.
