Get ready for a week of wilderness fun during Camping Week! We’re bringing the spirit of the outdoors to Family Learning Lab with hands-on projects, creative camp crafts, nature art, and science adventures all week long.
*NOT a drop off program.
Morning sessions are geared toward younger children and include open play in our sensory play area and LEGO zone, along with one guided activity such as Circle Time with Science, Sensory Seekers, or a Jr. Painted Art Project.
This week’s guided morning activities include Animal Track Hunters, where kids can explore how animals leave clues behind, Blue Gelatin & Green Pasta sensory play, and a Painted S’mores Hanger art project.
Afternoon guided activities led by our Camp Guide include Pine Cone Critters, Charm Bracelets, and Firefly Glow Jars to create and take home. Campers can also build a DIY Compass, make Constellation Projectors, and explore sunlight through our Sun & Nature Prints science project.
Creative artists will enjoy painting Mini Wood Crates, designing Camp Scenes on Canvas, and creating Painted Rocks inspired by the outdoors.
Friday morning STEAM Camp begins with a LEGO build warm-up challenge before teams work together on a S’mores Solar Oven challenge, using sunlight and design thinking to create a camp-themed engineering project.
